We are so proud to see Tangara ranked number 37 in NSW’s top 200 schools following the 2021 HSC results, an outstanding achievement! The second year in a row that our school has placed in the state's top 40 schools.
We congratulate our girls who have been so resilient and hardworking despite the hardships they had to face last year. Please see below our distinguished achievers who received a Band 6 in one or more of their subjects!
We congratulate Stephanie Pratikna who was named an All-Round Achiever. She achieved results in the highest band possible for at least 10 units of her HSC subjects. Well done Stephanie! Overall, the Class of 2021 attempted 191 examinations and earned 55 listings on the Distinguished Achievers List for achieving a Band 6 or equivalent in their course (90% or above).
We are so proud of our girls! Here is an excerpt from our principal’s message regarding the outstanding HSC results.
“While I’m obviously thrilled with our HSC results once again this year, I take this opportunity to reaffirm our primary goal and purpose at Tangara: to work hand-in-hand with parents to form women of good character. While today we celebrate an extraordinary academic effort, we know that the value of our unique young women – our daughters - cannot be measured by a set of numbers. It is my firm belief, and that of our Board, mentors and teachers, that by focusing our collective experience and expertise on developing women of virtue and good character, underwritten by a strong faith, we will give them a foundation on which to build an unlimited future.”
