A warm welcome to all our Tangara Infants families in 2022. A very special welcome to all our new students and parents who have joined the PARED community this year. It was wonderful to be able to welcome everybody on site for the first day of term and to see the children back in such high spirits, eager to commence the new school year. Our staggered starting times allowed our brand new students some time to take a few memorable photos before settling into a day of fun and exciting learning.
Our school continues to grow with 4 streams in Kindergarten and Year 1. Due to an increased demand for the excellent school readiness program, we are running a 5-Day, two 3-Day and a 2-Day Prep class program. Our growth in enrollments for our foundational years reflects a confidence in the PARED school’s philosophy and ethos, which mirrors the values that many families are looking for when choosing a school for their children. After Tangara’s excellent HSC results placing us 37th in the state, we anticipate even further interest in the school.
I’d like to congratulate and welcome Ms Michelle Homsy on her appointment as the new Head of Junior School to Tangara. We extend a very warm welcome to our new staff members who have joined us. Miss Nicole Abood joins the Year 1 team. Mrs. Alexandra Nodrid, an Old Girl of Tangara and Mrs. Laura Raad, a parent of the school, join the Kindergarten team. This year our Infants Department is also joined by Nicola Kennedy as a teacher’s aide for the Infants Department. We also welcome back our professional and dedicated returning Infants staff. Your children are certainly in excellent hands!
In my 11th year as an Infants Coordinator for the PARED’s schools, I have seen our students continue to grow and flourish in the face of many challenges and adversities. As we face another year with many unknowns, we can be confident in our faith that God will continue to guide and protect us. Take comfort in the words of Our Lord, from John 16:33:
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
The staff and I look forward to an exciting and productive year at Tangara Infants.
