Tangara was featured in The Daily Telegraph today for its outstanding 2023 NAPLAN results!
In an interview, our principal, Mrs Sakr, stated, "In Year 1 we performed at historically high levels this year." She attributes our impressive literacy results to the school's focus on phonics when teaching children to read, especially with the use of the Spalding program.
This tried and tested method of teaching definitely paid off for our students. Jacinta C (Year 1), said, "I enjoy reading books, it gives me a chance to learn new words and lots of information." Well done girls!
