Textiles Technology projects are well underway for Term 2!
Students in Year 8 class 3 completed their leisure wear garments and learnt many skills including threading and using the sewing machine and applique and tie-dyeing.
Year 9 is making 60s-inspired shift dresses with embroidery detail. The girls are learning about fabric types, fashion designers, sustainability and construction techniques.
Having completed the 1920s unit on theatre arts and costume design, this term, Year 10 is having cosy fun designing and making their hoodies from stretch knit fabrics.
Enjoy the pictures and some of the accounts from the girls below!
