Our Year 7 mother and daughter camp at The Tops Conference Centre was a resounding success! After eagerly anticipating this event after 2 years of COVID, 84 enthusiastic participants gathered over the weekend for an unforgettable experience. The camp, filled with a plethora of engaging activities such as go-kart racing, calligraphy, disco, and climbing, provided an ideal setting for students and their mothers to create cherished memories and strengthen their bonds.
The Tops conference centre provided a vibrant backdrop for the camp. Students and mothers enthusiastically participated in go-kart racing, igniting their competitive spirits and fostering a sense of camaraderie. The calligraphy sessions allowed participants to explore their artistic talents and express their creativity. The disco night created a lively atmosphere, where everyone danced and celebrated in a joyous ambience. Additionally, the climbing activities challenged both physical and mental capabilities, encouraging teamwork and perseverance.
One of the most significant aspects of the Year 7 camp was the opportunity for mothers and daughters to engage in special bonding sessions. Celebrating Mass with Fr Paul reminded participants of the values that underpin Tangara. The success of the Year 7 mother and daughter camp would not have been possible without the collective efforts of numerous individuals. Tangara School expresses sincere appreciation to all who attended and contributed to the success of this remarkable event.
